Scenario One:
Imagine your employee comes to work at 9 a.m. and realises he needs to head back home for an emergency. He attends to his emergency chores and comes back at 2:00 p.m. He finishes his work day at 6:00 p.m. and punches out on the attendance system.
With the first-in and last-out system, you would see full-day attendance, even when he wasn’t in for half-day. That’s not what you want.
